The logistics department aims for minimizing of freight and warehouse costs with the constraint of reaching the agreed logistics service levels and complying with all relevant Henkel standards concerning warehouse and transportation. It focuses on securing and monitoring performance in terms of safety, health and environment. Further, the logistics department implements and fosters the supply chain vision and strategy based on business unit and markets requirements. It strongly cooperates with other department to achieve common objectives.

YOUR ROLE

  • Acting as major contact person for logistics related topics in Austria
  • Maintaining strong work relationships with the logistics service providers
  • Driving initiatives to keep logistics cost on an optimum level while reaching end customer service level targets
  • Follow up and manage relevant KPIs
  • Cooperating with other departments such as Customer Service, Sales, Supply- & Business Planning on an international level 

YOUR SKILLS

  • A motivated candidate with degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management
  • First working experience in the area of Logistics / Supply Chain
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and a problem-solving attitude
  • Strong MS Office knowledge (especially MS Excel)
  • SAP knowledge desirable
  • Business fluent German and English skills
